Orhan Egemen Horasan was admitted to the Izmir Bar Association in 2016. Immediately following his graduation from law school, he pursued his postgraduate studies in Private Law (LL.M.) at the Izmir University Economics.
In 2016, he completed his second master degree in International Business Law (LL.M.) at Queen Mary University of London. His dissertation focuses on “Piercing the Corporate Veil for Tax Non Compliance Purposes: An International Overview”.
He completed his third master degree in French and European Law at University Paris II Panthéon Assas. He wrote his dissertation on “Methods of defense of target companies’ shareholders after a hostile takeover bid”. He focused his studies on French Capital Markets Law.
He is currently practicing Commercial Law, Company Law, Law of Carriage of Goods, Labor Law, Real Property Law, Law of Leases, Debt Collecting, Foreign Direct Investment Law, Contract Law, Domestic and International Commercial Arbitration, Insurance Law and Banking and Finance Law.
In 2017 he participated in ICC International Court of Arbitration Summer Course on International Commercial Arbitration.
He is fluent in English, French and Turkish.
